In 1919, Black Farmland Ownership Peaked At 16 -19 Million Acres, Which Was About 14% Of Total Agricultural Land. Today, 90% Of That Land Has Been Lost.

Black Farmers In America Have Lost More Than 12 Million Acres Of Farmland Because Of A Combination Of Systemic Racism, Discrimination By Banks And Financial Institutions; Through The Denial Of Access To Federal Farm Benefits By Local Administrators With Biased Government Policy, And Inequitable Social And Business Practices.
